Now that Ubuntu 11.10 is out, it is time to install a fresh new VM.
- Download ubuntu 11.10 (64-bit) - 697MB iso file (731,164,672 bytes)
- Upload .iso to esx server
- Create new virtual machine
- Install apps:
- java
- tomcat (activate manager)
- groovy
- apache2
- jenkins (needs its own settings.xml)
- maven (download) - Apache Maven 3.0.3 (r1075438; 2011-02-28 10:31:09-0700)
- nexus
- openssh
- nmap
